Welcome to The 2A Resistance Website and Bulletin Board!
For those who don’t remember, bulletin boards aka forums, were the social media of the day. When MySpace, then Facebook came along it pretty much wiped out localized forums because it wasn’t as single topic oriented. Yes, ‘old-timey‘ forums still exist and have improved capabilities like internal messaging, or instant messages within the board. In other words if you are logged into the forum and browsing around you get notified. Of course if not active on the board, you’ll get your message when you come back. These forums can also be set to private where no one but those involved may see.
If you can remember ICQ, the first real instant messenger then you can appreciate how Facebook changed everything. Suddenly there were apps for everything. Your phone and these days your watch will notify you instantly. We love that convenience, however, it comes with a price. You sign away your right to everything you share, and the whole world can see it. Privacy has gone away, every picture you share with a face gets absorbed into the system never to be stopped.
This lack of privacy also means a lack of security, not to mention these giant companies now own you. With that, they can block or ban you at will. Nobody is saying they shouldn’t ban bad guys doing bad things, but, these days they have decided us good guys are bad. Imagine that. Topics we once called normal, like guns and our second Amendment Rights can get your content removed or your channel, page, or whatever given a strike or two or three!
Now we are coming to the reason 2AResist.com has added a bulletin board found here 2AResist.com/forum/ and it’s potential uses and purpose. This domain along with the sister site 2AOrganizer.com are mine. The big tech boys can’t take it away, at least not yet. Who knows, the feds may take everything privately owned away if the commies get elected.
Anyway, if you have a WordPress.com account you can follow both, odds are you don’t, however, the 2AOrganizer.com site will allow registration with your Facebook, Twitter, or Google account for simplicity if you wish to register. I’m hoping to get the same capability for the forum but in the mean time, it’s old school too. So why should you register on these sites? To keep up with the unknown I guess. Sort of a just in case jour favorite YouTuber gets taken down you will have a hub for info.
Since YouTube has been acting up, demonetising their accounts etc., most have been getting alternate accounts on gunstreamer.com or Full30.com and there is another called guntube.org I believe it is but it didn’t look like much happening there.
Bottom line, these two domains, 2AOrganizer.com and 2AResist.com are tools. The organizer site is to bring information together so we can keep up, news, events calendar etc.. The Resist site is to discuss and plan events or just to shoot the breeze like the old days. If you sign up, great, we can work together. Before we lose our precious rights join me in the fight.
